Island Cruises Holidays

Island Cruises first began operating in the summer of 2002, after being founded by First Choice Holidays and Royal Caribbean International. From 2007 TUI Travel became a new joint owner of Island Cruises with Royal Caribbean holding the other 50% stake in the company after First Choice merged with TUI.

The first cruise ship to enter service for Island Cruises Holidays was Island Escape in 2002. They now have a fleet of two ships with the addition of Island Star in 2005.

Onboard you will find that Island Cruises Holidays offer a relaxed cruising experience with no formal dress code when it comes to dining. You will find that there are no set timings for dinner meaning that you can eat when you want, where you want and with whom you want. All restaurants onboard both ships are non-smoking meaning you can enjoy your meals in a comfortable smoke-free environment.

Facilities available cater for everyone from relaxation to never-ending fun. Onboard you will find a salon and spa area to keep you looking your best, plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, a shopping centre, casino, gym and pool. You will even find dedicated areas for children including a kids club.

Each year Island Cruises spend their summers cruising the Mediterranean and their winters in Brazil. From December 2008 Island Star will be offering cruises to the Caribbean for the winter in addition to their other itineraries already available.

Island Cruises are sure to offer you the informal cruise holiday you’ve always wanted in a friendly and relaxed environment.
